Elon Musk is once again in the spotlight of the cryptocurrency world.
This time it's not about a controversial tweet or a shocking statement, but about
combination of fine actions and technological forecasts, which
spark new speculation within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Discrete Accumulation: The "Musk" Mystery
It all started with a simple "like" on X (formerly Twitter). Musk reacted
of a post that hinted at "discreet crypto accumulation."
Although it is not an official confirmation, the gesture was enough to
sparked the rumors.
Some analysts, such as crypto lawyer John Deaton, believe that,
that Musk could be accumulating Bitcoin through private companies or through Tesla,
without announcing the purchases publicly. This wouldn't be anything new — in 2021
Tesla purchased $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin without warning.
"Musk understands the power of the network effect with Bitcoin. If he is truly buying,
we will find out when it is already too late for a cheap investment," commented
Deaton.
Musk's AI predicts a price of 115,000 USD in August
The artificial intelligence of his company XAI — Grok 3, recently
published a forecast based on technical data and macroeconomic
ETF factors and volume. The model indicates, that Bitcoin could reach
115 000 USD by the end of August in a favorable environment for institutions and
regulators.
Grok primarily takes into account:
• The continuous influx of institutional investment into spot ETFs
about Bitcoin.
• The supply reduction following the 2024 halving
• The inverse correlation with the US dollar and expected inflation.
This forecast supports the bullish market sentiment, also confirmed by
from banks such as Standard Chartered and Global X ETFs.
What does this mean for the market?
If Elon Musk is indeed accumulating Bitcoin — directly or indirectly — this
may cause new institutional FOMO effect, similar to this one
following Tesla's announcement in 2021
In combination with the support of his AI company and the growing streams
to regulated financial instruments, Bitcoin could gather
enough momentum to hit new all-time highs.
